The Story Behind the Writer
I graduated from directing school with very high grades, but I was unable to continue pursuing my education and career in film.
When I was 20 years old, my brother and I were forced to remain inside the cold walls of our family tower because my father had been involved in a blood feud. Leaving the house could have put our lives in danger.
At that age, my dreams and ambitions were suddenly interrupted. I eventually made the difficult decision to leave secretly and travel to Belgium, where I completed two years of training in filmmaking.
Film has remained my passion ever since. I consider myself a specialist in filmmaking, but I have never had the opportunity to meet the right people or find the right path into the industry.
For the past five years, I have dedicated myself to writing screenplays based on true stories. My greatest ambition is to finally bring my life's dream to life through cinema.
I am particularly inspired by the power of art to confront injustice, expose wrongdoing and criticise the darker sides of human behaviour through powerful stories.

Vitor Leka is an independent screenwriter and filmmaker originally from Albania and now based in London. With a background in directing and filmmaking training in Belgium, Vitor has spent the past five years developing original screenplays inspired by true stories.
His work focuses particularly on action, conflict, human courage and the darker sides of human behaviour. Through cinema, he hopes to bring powerful real-life stories to audiences and use storytelling as a way of confronting injustice and wrongdoing.
Vitor is currently seeking the opportunity to connect with the right creative and film-industry professionals to bring his screenplays to the screen.
